The Reiki Experience for Pets

To begin the session, we will discuss your pet’s needs, health, and emotional state, as well as your concerns as their guardian.

During the session, your animal or pet will receive soothing energy in a calm, relaxed environment, either in-person or remotely. Reiki helps ease discomfort and stress during difficult times.

After the session, we will review the experience and any shifts in your pet’s energy or behavior. For end-of-life care or grief, continued emotional and energetic support for both you and your pet are offered.

This session may be offered In-Person or Remote.

*Reiki is counter-advised for healing of broken bones.

Distance Animal Reiki

Distant Reiki is a healing technique that channels Qi to a recipient who is not physically present. It can be done via Zoom or at an agreed upon time and emphasizes the non-local nature of energy via time and space.

During the session, Distant Reiki works the same and just as effective as an in-person session. The length of this session may last up to half an hour.

Follow-up & Support: After the session, we will discuss any insights or observations.

GRIEF SUPPORT

Compassionate Reiki support is offered for pets and their guardians during end-of-life transitions.  While honoring the pet as a member of the family, this session honors the bond you share throughout the grieving process.

  • Yes, Reiki is safe. Reiki is a non-invasive, gentle energy healing practice that is safe and beneficial for animals.

  • Yes, your presence can be comforting for your pet and is encouraged. Reiki and be done in-person or remotely (distance), allowing you to be involved in the healing process if desired.

  • If a history of biting is present, it is best to have a remote (distance) session. This ensures the safety of the practitioner and encourages a relaxed environment. The rule of safety first is followed.

  • QSV philosophy is all is energy, including all living beings. Reiki has been proven as an effective complementary modality throughout history. Although holistic healing is continuing to rise in acceptance in Western culture, it is a way of being in Eastern. I am honored to be a part of its integration into the Western.
